APPLICATION GUIDELINE:
4 A S3 g. r+ ^4 \$ p/ H, g( J) MA fuse that bursts is not an acceptable result and termination of a test. If a fuse bursts during
$ o4 p6 b8 |/ G" r$ Mfault testing per sub-clause 5.3, it does not have adequate breaking (rupturing) capacity.
& D& B9 P9 z& k4 `! WTherefore, such a fuse should be replaced by the manufacturer with another fuse having high
& V1 ]2 `; L6 E1 ^0 D% f2 `breaking capacity. This consideration applies to fuses complying with both IEC 60127 and UL* Q( X) T1 X+ v4 J1 i. X

Placement of heat shrink or similar tubing over the fuse assembly is not a suitable solution to
