2.12.1 Required marking
. u# Q# l& c7 I. Y' L" `The plug shall be marked with the following information in accordance with AS/NZS 3100:
) w+ { E( o( p7 V& {2 S( _7 U(a) The name, trade name, or mark of the manufacturer or of the responsible vendor.4 F3 M2 n# A. C! Q2 E
(b) The current rating in amperes.

(d) If not the only type of plug marketed by the manufacturer or responsible vendor, the
& Z& C+ _3 S: t" Y/ f9 w( y/ Yplug shall also be marked with a catalogue number, type number or name, or other
9 a/ y. }' ?+ o) M6 U0 z; f7 b8 fmarking which will distinguish it from any other plug marketed by that manufacturer or responsible vendor.

(b) Items (b), (c) and (e)—on the external body of the plug. |
