2.12.1 Required marking
. |# {6 R s. `; W) ZThe plug shall be marked with the following information in accordance with AS/NZS 3100:$ P/ }. s. d7 @* W9 W9 Q
(a) The name, trade name, or mark of the manufacturer or of the responsible vendor.3 E1 i* X J: B% b1 G4 S t/ X
(b) The current rating in amperes.
' y/ p+ y5 N1 k3 q$ X6 y(c) The voltage.2 c6 n" V$ n$ \2 \3 N, Z, s
(d) If not the only type of plug marketed by the manufacturer or responsible vendor, the' Y: G7 E e8 d. V; @
plug shall also be marked with a catalogue number, type number or name, or other R$ u/ L- c/ }6 c: v
marking which will distinguish it from any other plug marketed by that manufacturer or responsible vendor.

2.12.2 Location of marking9 J% m* ^* {2 `* T% W
The marking required by Clause 2.12.1 shall be located as follows:
1 ] A. F/ J9 b(a) Items (a) and (d)—on any portion of the plug.
- V! U! s: M9 W& j(b) Items (b), (c) and (e)—on the external body of the plug. |
