1) Shall the symbol corresponding to the class II be applied ? On which part of the appliance ?
/ P0 o: V! B9 t; ~2) May the markings specified in 7.1 to 7.5 be placed on the transformer, with only the reference of

Our proposal is to answer Yes to the 2 questions and to consider that the class II symbol shall be
; }4 p+ H2 e* P4 |9 d- d2 Yplaced on the transformer, but we would want to have the opinion of other delegates.

The majority agree that the marking may be in the power supply unit under the following conditions:
/ b* U8 M. I2 X* M- the appliance is delivered as one appliance with two parts, a power supply unit and a class III

- the power supply is specially designed for the class III apparatus and has the model or any other
4 s2 u# |7 C! G3 ?/ f: b; irelevant identification of the class III part written on it.
/ h% S4 @- s$ J& e# `! X- the class III apparatus has the same model marking as the power supply unit and the instructions
o2 @5 s# j3 Z3 V: n# Ushall include that only the power supply unit delivered with it can be used.5 a# a4 w$ B7 C& A. s
- special markings required in the relevant part 2 for the class III part shall be marked on it. |
