Some appliances are composed by a class III part supplied by a class II plug transformer through a; |& [ I/ i- P4 V- R9 Y% r& W

The clause 7.15 indicates that "The markings specified in 7.1 to 7.5 shall be on a main part of the" W; |7 ?; @( d1 S/ V
appliance"; }" c0 j4 x7 Y- z J
We have seen some differences in the application of the markings between testing houses:5 X' ?* c2 ~+ h
1) Shall the symbol corresponding to the class II be applied ? On which part of the appliance ?
* [; Y3 w1 J# w. h2) May the markings specified in 7.1 to 7.5 be placed on the transformer, with only the reference of

Our proposal is to answer Yes to the 2 questions and to consider that the class II symbol shall be
