We have seen some differences in the application of the markings between testing houses:5 X' ?* c2 ~+ h
1) Shall the symbol corresponding to the class II be applied ? On which part of the appliance ?

Our proposal is to answer Yes to the 2 questions and to consider that the class II symbol shall be
. t, Q" G3 _1 Nplaced on the transformer, but we would want to have the opinion of other delegates.

- the appliance is delivered as one appliance with two parts, a power supply unit and a class III

- the power supply is specially designed for the class III apparatus and has the model or any other5 ~' n, }) B6 V7 e
relevant identification of the class III part written on it." k! H9 S9 Y5 n7 C2 M6 e
- the class III apparatus has the same model marking as the power supply unit and the instructions
; h, X4 R' Y+ N4 A0 Z0 H8 Q" V' Hshall include that only the power supply unit delivered with it can be used./ `' z$ k& ^2 {" B! A! l
- special markings required in the relevant part 2 for the class III part shall be marked on it. |
