2) May the markings specified in 7.1 to 7.5 be placed on the transformer, with only the reference of

Our proposal is to answer Yes to the 2 questions and to consider that the class II symbol shall be

The majority agree that the marking may be in the power supply unit under the following conditions:
! Y% s4 P& @9 Y- the appliance is delivered as one appliance with two parts, a power supply unit and a class III
# F2 d! a6 v# bapparatus.
: r+ E3 i/ H$ g. X/ n4 H- the power supply is specially designed for the class III apparatus and has the model or any other
' [4 N. @5 a/ Z: T; W/ \# Urelevant identification of the class III part written on it./ h+ }1 y8 X0 D5 Z% P) M0 D, P
- the class III apparatus has the same model marking as the power supply unit and the instructions
$ P5 n1 X+ m$ I }shall include that only the power supply unit delivered with it can be used.
- v$ f$ h$ ]& U5 P* b: N, Z1 ?! E( l; l- special markings required in the relevant part 2 for the class III part shall be marked on it. |
