We have seen some differences in the application of the markings between testing houses:
1 r1 G( e( u! T; I: Q1) Shall the symbol corresponding to the class II be applied ? On which part of the appliance ?
7 @0 e5 }9 F: M$ ]6 |# ^; A2) May the markings specified in 7.1 to 7.5 be placed on the transformer, with only the reference of
6 J% G5 o5 o- `; n4 K1 }model on the class III part ?
0 A& F% @1 p1 S7 i: MOur proposal is to answer Yes to the 2 questions and to consider that the class II symbol shall be

The majority agree that the marking may be in the power supply unit under the following conditions:; K/ G$ H- N& \# A9 {& Q
- the appliance is delivered as one appliance with two parts, a power supply unit and a class III

- the power supply is specially designed for the class III apparatus and has the model or any other
0 H7 N' b7 ]% \: L8 }4 prelevant identification of the class III part written on it.
/ b% ^5 t* } X: B- the class III apparatus has the same model marking as the power supply unit and the instructions4 |) Q3 D/ j# b* J4 p
shall include that only the power supply unit delivered with it can be used.
