美國加州第65號法案(California Proposition 65)

8 M4 y6 m3 l# q% D: Y$ o6 w美國加州於1986年開始實施「安全飲用水及有毒物質法案」 (The Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act)，又稱為加州65法案，主要是推廣安全、乾淨的飲用水，並促使消費性產品不含會導致癌症或畸形兒的有毒物質。法規精神為：「從事商業行為的任何人，不得將危害物質於未經告示下販售給消費者。」

影響範圍:
" n) d, N+ K) a3 ]# }# P+ mCalifornia Prop 65 affects all products sold or distributed in California, including: Toys, Clothing, Cosmetics, jewellery, Electrical devices, Wires & Cables, etc.

要求:
# j" F+ [( R9 ?4 g6 B5 vFirms doing business in California and exposing individuals to chemicals “known to the State” to cause cancer, birth defects or reproductive toxicity must:# K7 ~' q9 e1 z/ [; e5 O
- w0 G. @. h ~. e8 \( P) W9 s% N8 u(1) Provide clear and reasonable warning& c! W/ u( k1 k5 Z
(2) Do not discharge listed chemicals into drinking water

警告標識內容要求:1 Q( c, `: Q& D% x' p
* K% \+ H; o3 k. w* ?, U8 G! B6 d* }, e
(1) A warning must be given for listed chemicals unless exposure is low enough to pose no significant risk.! D' s; r9 H' Z9 O3 F9 E, G' A/ y* _
(2) Warning labelling is required if the product does not meet the requirements of Proposition 65.; ^' K( }# @' C1 v1 F4 Q
(3) The warning message must clearly communicate that the chemical in question is known to the State (California) to cause adverse effects. |
