美國加州第65號法案(California Proposition 65)

簡介:
O3 x0 r' O, Z9 v: L; b( ?美國加州於1986年開始實施「安全飲用水及有毒物質法案」 (The Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act)，又稱為加州65法案，主要是推廣安全、乾淨的飲用水，並促使消費性產品不含會導致癌症或畸形兒的有毒物質。法規精神為：「從事商業行為的任何人，不得將危害物質於未經告示下販售給消費者。」

影響範圍:
# ^4 }" B& i' T* V0 W1 kCalifornia Prop 65 affects all products sold or distributed in California, including: Toys, Clothing, Cosmetics, jewellery, Electrical devices, Wires & Cables, etc.

Firms doing business in California and exposing individuals to chemicals “known to the State” to cause cancer, birth defects or reproductive toxicity must:2 b# t7 P' F3 [" O

(1) Provide clear and reasonable warning
. i% n( e7 N* s(2) Do not discharge listed chemicals into drinking water8 B9 S# v( n2 h$ B

警告標識內容要求:& z( x! M& \# O9 E0 b

(1) A warning must be given for listed chemicals unless exposure is low enough to pose no significant risk.
3 f$ H. o. z0 F% l, z8 `(2) Warning labelling is required if the product does not meet the requirements of Proposition 65.% t4 n4 ]! V1 B* ]# u) U
(3) The warning message must clearly communicate that the chemical in question is known to the State (California) to cause adverse effects. |
