美國加州第65號法案(California Proposition 65)

美國加州於1986年開始實施「安全飲用水及有毒物質法案」 (The Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act)，又稱為加州65法案，主要是推廣安全、乾淨的飲用水，並促使消費性產品不含會導致癌症或畸形兒的有毒物質。法規精神為：「從事商業行為的任何人，不得將危害物質於未經告示下販售給消費者。」0 o" \3 I! f; q4 [" Z) V( i

6 i. A, C- G. i# l# y" P& k l2 oCalifornia Prop 65 affects all products sold or distributed in California, including: Toys, Clothing, Cosmetics, jewellery, Electrical devices, Wires & Cables, etc.$ X3 ]( } d: Z) _

Firms doing business in California and exposing individuals to chemicals “known to the State” to cause cancer, birth defects or reproductive toxicity must:

6 V4 ^7 o& A( l: U* }- C% F0 _* S; Q- Z(1) Provide clear and reasonable warning
9 M. A& {# z/ h(2) Do not discharge listed chemicals into drinking water4 |: D, {* G w5 C) T* |/ z

警告標識內容要求:; i* E% q5 v1 f) }( N2 T
% G9 c/ j) }* d& b" h/ M! g/ w% {(1) A warning must be given for listed chemicals unless exposure is low enough to pose no significant risk.
: F4 w1 q8 K+ x: [3 ~(2) Warning labelling is required if the product does not meet the requirements of Proposition 65.
& M$ d9 U; P9 g {(3) The warning message must clearly communicate that the chemical in question is known to the State (California) to cause adverse effects. |
