美國加州第65號法案(California Proposition 65)

7 M% N' E7 i# H( ?& [1 k7 R/ S美國加州於1986年開始實施「安全飲用水及有毒物質法案」 (The Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act)，又稱為加州65法案，主要是推廣安全、乾淨的飲用水，並促使消費性產品不含會導致癌症或畸形兒的有毒物質。法規精神為：「從事商業行為的任何人，不得將危害物質於未經告示下販售給消費者。」

) g9 n& Y+ N2 S3 N影響範圍:
3 P( M: {4 W& }- ~( eCalifornia Prop 65 affects all products sold or distributed in California, including: Toys, Clothing, Cosmetics, jewellery, Electrical devices, Wires & Cables, etc., e! f! B+ T$ i7 _

Firms doing business in California and exposing individuals to chemicals “known to the State” to cause cancer, birth defects or reproductive toxicity must:: O7 y) W5 m) C6 u9 ?
. p" x7 d$ s) X$ k# H(1) Provide clear and reasonable warning7 N! t' h) D5 x" U1 ]* U
(2) Do not discharge listed chemicals into drinking water

警告標識內容要求:
" i; _- I& i0 V/ Q
4 P$ E$ J# D' @# e( _7 n" W6 K(1) A warning must be given for listed chemicals unless exposure is low enough to pose no significant risk.6 m, |$ v$ c4 r2 d
(2) Warning labelling is required if the product does not meet the requirements of Proposition 65.! E# x: e' B! e! |) t2 c4 g
(3) The warning message must clearly communicate that the chemical in question is known to the State (California) to cause adverse effects. |
