在讨论外壳开孔之前，必须先了解60950-1法规里针对外壳的定义

A part of the equipment intended to reduce the risk of injury due to mechanical and other physical hazards.7 t& x. f! B# h0 s0 h
4 |+ F& U1 _7 S4 |" dC. 电气外壳 (Electrical enclosure): 系设备的一部分，用来避免碰触到危险电压或危险能量位准之风险' z( P' o' i# [' c" U Y' d
A part of the equipment intended to limit access to parts that may be at HAZARDOUS VOLTAGES or HAZARDOUS ENERGY LEVELS or are in TNV CIRCUITS.

+ Z: ?1 `0 K4 S% B; i N+ L1 |" qD. 装饰零件 (Decorative part): 系设备的一部分，露在外壳之外而不具安全机能 R" D8 _% d, {. ?$ p4 v
A part of the equipment, outside the ENCLOSURE, which has no safety function.

- 上方及侧边开孔是指所有的外壳都要符合4.6.1的其中一個要求; j0 s" ?. ^9 S' c1 _7 x
- 底部开孔是只有针对防火外壳必須要符合4.6.2的其中一個要求* Q: Y6 O; S6 M
8 N! P# c% F: K9 E( d2 [其他：如果防火外殼的側邊開孔部分，落在於圖4E中的5度角軌跡之區域內，則這些側邊開孔亦需符合底部開孔的要求。. I; X0 @4 T+ F; O4 U' q# s
% A$ `' Q8 E* A4 E/ R% x- f一般開孔會有問題的都是發生在防火外殼的部分，所以還必須瞭解$ B3 ?7 A/ p. R% I" `
