7.1 Replace the last dashed item in the first paragraph by the following:

necessary for appliances operated only by batteries (primary batteries or secondary

soaked with petroleum spirit. The petroleum spirit to be used for the test is aliphatic solvent

8.1.3 Replace the note by the following.

provide full disconnection and the clearances for full disconnection specified in 20.1.5.3 of

For appliances provided with a supply cord and without a switching device in their supply

13.2 Replace the first paragraph by the following:
* e0 q# j! Z8 R# E: dThe leakage current is measured by means of the circuit described in Figure 4 of  G6 g% V' `7 Y( G5 f* Q
IEC 60990:1999. For class 0I appliances and class I appliances, except parts of class II
4 O2 b& c( L& i6 C0 I% jconstruction, C may be replaced by a low impedance ammeter responding to the rated

If the control performs more than one function, only that aspect of the control under+ k5 y  [0 G& ?7 O/ i1 G
consideration is rendered inoperative. Other functions of the control may continue to operate

/ z/ q& Q# B9 d19.7 In the third paragraph of the test specification, replace “class P2” by “class S2 or S3”.
: c2 l* e7 _( X7 A4 A19.11.3 Replace the text of the test specification but not the note, by the following.

started so that the most unfavourable conditions of the test are applied.
; Z* q! Y  y: [If the appliance is able to operate after the fault in the protective electronic circuit is! S5 K& z6 n. n$ k: f
incorporated, then the appliance is further tested as follows.
% u5 T% n2 ]$ kFor appliances for continuous operation the appliance is operated until steady conditions are6 H7 H% r' t- S" P
reached. Then the relevant test of Clause 19 is repeated.- ~# `7 O  B3 X4 K1 D7 k9 D7 F
Other appliances are operated for one cycle of operation. Then the relevant test of Clause 19( r6 f& y0 p' F# k, V$ h, X$ P
is repeated.  I+ e5 m" }! C8 m( A  D
19.11.4.2 Replace the test specification but not the note, by the following:
2 g4 b- c/ {7 ]* j/ U/ Y  }The appliance is subjected to radiated fields in accordance with IEC 61000-4-3.& _+ e/ _: s. z* w% y
The frequency ranges tested shall be:
6 H9 b0 f6 \: w- S+ }$ r– 80 MHz to 1 000 MHz, test level 3;
0 F9 F* t4 r' `" S; }– 1,4 GHz to 2,0 GHz, test level 3;
# [/ K+ s! l* O+ e* b3 J– 2,0 GHz to 2,7 GHz, test level 2.
