Compliance is checked by inspection.

The signal words WARNING, CAUTION, DANGER if in the Latin alphabet shall be in

13 Leakage current and electric strength at operating temperature
- `! F1 W/ q  K* l7 |: J13.2 Replace the first paragraph by the following:
! i& l) N, C" Q/ F" s7 kThe leakage current is measured by means of the circuit described in Figure 4 of
; j9 y$ ~, F* n% p; [( s6 {IEC 60990:1999. For class 0I appliances and class I appliances, except parts of class II
3 X# O8 Q8 o& }9 Qconstruction, C may be replaced by a low impedance ammeter responding to the rated( e3 C6 q5 O) o: \3 b4 f" J9 U6 e

19 Abnormal operation
6 T0 N4 i# E$ }19.1 Add the following to the penultimate paragraph of the test specification:
3 I  n& z& T! b  P. V4 h! O0 w' \- mIf the control performs more than one function, only that aspect of the control under) s; k6 E& [4 \5 z  R  J
consideration is rendered inoperative. Other functions of the control may continue to operate
$ i8 g/ h) H3 f- ]4 rnormally.5 g/ J5 e. G' }: r. j/ P
19.7 In the third paragraph of the test specification, replace “class P2” by “class S2 or S3”.
- w. @% k5 V- i+ S) |19.11.3 Replace the text of the test specification but not the note, by the following.  z; {/ K$ I! F/ X/ l8 k9 n
If the appliance incorporates a protective electronic circuit that operates to ensure, k; n8 J; s6 I( [9 ]3 ~* O
compliance with Clause 19, the appliance is tested as follows:
0 |/ J; n9 N- s3 fA fault as indicated in a) to g) of 19.11.2 shall be incorporated in the protective electronic3 z5 m$ N% g8 X& Q
circuit either before the appliance is started or at any point in time after the appliance is
/ n) {# o" C% l$ {; r# Y: Gstarted so that the most unfavourable conditions of the test are applied.9 e& [* c$ P9 S4 \
If the appliance is able to operate after the fault in the protective electronic circuit is9 U0 C/ y* Q- ^4 C
incorporated, then the appliance is further tested as follows.+ Z9 g) U7 I- K/ H+ u
For appliances for continuous operation the appliance is operated until steady conditions are( f, x) L0 @$ j1 [2 J! C) Q" \( [
reached. Then the relevant test of Clause 19 is repeated.
  O, G! P5 Q" ^5 ^& T9 COther appliances are operated for one cycle of operation. Then the relevant test of Clause 19

19.11.4.2 Replace the test specification but not the note, by the following:
- r! ?5 Q* S9 ?9 |/ s# CThe appliance is subjected to radiated fields in accordance with IEC 61000-4-3.
$ f+ ^" L3 l; Y7 A6 zThe frequency ranges tested shall be:
, K% V* N4 j' z– 80 MHz to 1 000 MHz, test level 3;
/ _/ l' u1 e% D$ Z* L& k# d– 1,4 GHz to 2,0 GHz, test level 3;# _/ ]2 M; B- m# d. e
– 2,0 GHz to 2,7 GHz, test level 2.
