关于IEC61347（GB19510）附录D烤箱与UL935烤箱材料，请看第一段话：

The heating tests are made in an enclosure in which the temperature of the ambient air is maintained as specified (see Figure D.1). The entire test enclosure shall be constructed of heat resistant material 25 mm thick.

再看UL935要求：

而根据UL935的要求，thermal insulating material是热绝缘材料，与耐热材料完全是两码事。

根据中英文字面来理解：
% _0 v- |& ?& \/ b" ^/ C  yheat resistant material （耐热材料）可以是金属（导热材料，但不是热绝缘材料）、夹板（热绝缘材料）、石棉（热绝缘材料）。
2 J& N& O, B( C* y- ^& f: P- J: vthermal insulating material（热绝缘材料）则不可以是金属，但可以是夹板、石棉等材料。

我沒做過燈具.  以下意見僅供參考:  
1.  我喵了一下標準, 我認為UL標準的用詞比較精準.  這個support底部有加熱器, 如果support本身無法隔熱, 便會影響到待測物的溫度值.  更何況, 如果只是要一個可以耐熱的材料, 何必到25 mm那麼厚呢?

8 a% {) D3 K( k4 B' [  Z2 E4 W5 Y2.  如果硬是要我解釋(硬坳)標準中heat-resistant material 為何是熱絕緣材料時, 我會這樣說:
, V7 y  u3 M( u! d(1).  Collins字典: "-resistant" is added to nouns to form adjectives that describe something as not being harmed or affected by the thing mentioned." 是用來加在名詞後方(變成形容詞來用).  常見的組合為是 water-resistant (防水), oil-resistant (耐油), corrision-resistant, drug-resistant (抗藥), etc.  注意中文名詞中的"抗", "防", "耐"的意義有所不同
4 j) ^0 r- F$ b2 T(2).  物理學中, Heat是一種能量(Energy), heat =/= temperature.  
0 x# r$ M- _: f0 W9 w6 }(3).  綜合上面, Heat-resistant material 可以解釋成該種材料不會被heat所傷害 (耐熱, 撐得住), 亦可以解釋成該材料並不會對heat這種能量有太多反應或其傳導能力非常差 (抗熱, K value 很大).  
(4).  前種解釋可以在 Heat-resistant steel/metal等地方見到

我觉得这要结合标准的特定使用的情况下，比如:UL标准，只针对美国，美洲这一块，那么他们的家里建筑一般都是木制的，同意楼主'thermal insulation"理解为隔热材料！IEC61347针对的是电源驱动器，那么驱动器的使用很广!比如：现在很多灯具里面的使用!灯具的外壳基本是金属，以前使用的灯管，那个驱动器！有可能你房间顶部设计是木板隔层呢，那它不就是使用在木材材料上面。heat resistant material  翻译成“耐热材料”我觉得是对的。

夹板做的烤箱最大温度能升到多少呢？以前做UL一直用金属烤箱来做的。

虽然对灯具的标准要求不了解，但是还是想说几句

+ S; y0 r% B7 F9 E$ t1 N4 o做这个什么烤箱实验的目的是什么，应该就是模拟设备在最不利的额定输入内，在周围环境不利于散热的情况下测试设备内各部件的温度会不会超出其限值吧？
所以烤箱用的应该就是隔热材料而不是导热材料吧，这样才能模拟不利于散热的条件，要不然用铁皮这种导热材料来做感觉会影响测试效果，就像之前做TV产品温升的时候测试不能在测试角附近走来走去影响测试结果一样吧？（TV的是木板做的，应该不是导热材料）

这个有点区别，是thermal insulation.

5.18 Thermal insulation
5.18.1 Thermal insulation shall be fire-resistant material, such as glass fiber, inorganic material, or
polymeric material.
5.18.2 A polymeric thermal insulation material shall:
(a) have a temperature rating equal to or greater than the operating temperature in the
luminaire; and
(b) have a minimum HB flammability rating, or comply with the horizontal burning flame test of
Clause 16.25.
5.18.3 Thermal insulation shall be reliably secured in place. It shall be attached to the luminaire in the
correct position by at least one of the following means:
