美國加州第65號法案(California Proposition 65)

美國加州於1986年開始實施「安全飲用水及有毒物質法案」 (The Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act)，又稱為加州65法案，主要是推廣安全、乾淨的飲用水，並促使消費性產品不含會導致癌症或畸形兒的有毒物質。法規精神為：「從事商業行為的任何人，不得將危害物質於未經告示下販售給消費者。」

影響範圍:

6 Z; _! o# {, h* tFirms doing business in California and exposing individuals to chemicals “known to the State” to cause cancer, birth defects or reproductive toxicity must:

(1) Provide clear and reasonable warning' c5 f) Q$ T- l7 y
(2) Do not discharge listed chemicals into drinking water" [! M1 d5 f F7 y; l

警告標識內容要求:

(1) A warning must be given for listed chemicals unless exposure is low enough to pose no significant risk.
# c2 k7 A+ E& W3 g- @- N3 o X ~- f(2) Warning labelling is required if the product does not meet the requirements of Proposition 65.
) I5 u9 Z2 A: q @, q(3) The warning message must clearly communicate that the chemical in question is known to the State (California) to cause adverse effects. |
