Competencies needed

- Strong ability to deal with/learn international test/safety standards. + x) ^7 M' Q" k9 N
- Creative and pro-active in translating knowledge from testing result into proposals for improvements.
. _! ^6 {$ T2 z- s9 K- Several years of experience in small appliances safety certification/testing.3 s. L7 F4 v# F& O7 t" U
- Good interpersonal and communication skills (oral, written and presentations).1 o! y4 f! @# W8 E! A
- Strong capabilities to communicate with management and colleagues in the own product organization, as well as external suppliers, testing institutes and service centers.

$ W) `- m* A, s. e$ dAs a Safety Engineer your main tasks will be to;
' r1 m' A m( s; O- Be responsible for safety tests/certification of small appliances.
3 W4 t A- t# M5 ^1 Y9 v- Be the safety consultant of small appliances.( G% g1 Y6 B* a, w/ y3 p
- Communicate with testing institutes to deal with the certification/safety test problems.+ n, ?: K1 w3 F- p* i6 U
- Test according to IEC/UL and national standard
0 P3 H5 w6 p6 v5 f: d- Guide/instruct the team members in the right way to perform safety tests.
K$ }/ i6 A0 [% _- Check instructions for use and do corresponding adjustments and/or additions. ' I7 ^/ w/ W# R4 {# t0 ?4 _8 G! ]
- Plan the lab activities and time required for the tests
% Y/ m5 _6 N7 q/ s2 Y, D- Evaluate test results and create new solutions and improvements.
