So far as I know, IEC62612 is a Pre-Standard for Self-ballasted LED-lamps. IEC will get the final version for this standard later.

At this moment, EU has already has the Regulation No. 244/2009 for the Self-ballasted LED-lamps. In this Regulation, LED light bulb can skip the functional requirements and only needs to have

& v& J/ G. b- v& A - Product information requirements (Energy Labelling)

By the way, please note that the above Regulation has not yet call up IEC62612. Instead, other standards are listed in its Annex, such as) \& E/ H7 b; T2 y0 Y9 n: c2 o
