The apparatus covered by this standard is subdivided into categories. For each category,

Examples: motor operated appliances, lighting toys, track sets without electronic control units,

Electric circuits consisting of passive components (such as radio interference suppression! u5 m6 X, @ j( A5 B; v0 i
capacitors or inductors, mains transformers and mains frequency rectifiers) are not considered

tools, heating appliances and similar electric apparatus (for example – UV radiators, IR radiators

oscillator frequency higher than 15 MHz.
