47.1 Surface marking is not required for appliance wiring material.4 M! s+ o4 _+ J3 i5 Y7 J: d
47.2 When surface marking referencing ²AWM² is used, the marking shall contain the following elements:" L) l) j9 V5 X( |6 Z9 m! B
a) Wire/cable designation: ²AWM.²
/ A) }# C4 N8 ^, `' H. @" kb) Name of the organization responsible for the AWM, trade name, other applicable mark, or; Y& ]) P0 U6 T, M# X& D' T# F
file number. When the organization responsible for the AWM produces AWM in more than one) y: s. Q4 W/ |6 J
location, an additional distinctive marking shall be provided that identifies the specific

47.3 For a cable that contains a conductive polymeric shield, the jacket or marker tape shall be marked" p9 l) \6 K7 T# }; n) T
²Conductive Shield,² ²Contains Polymeric Conductive Shield,² or equivalent. |
