4.2.4 Preparation of specimens

Samples shall be taken from a wire, cable or cord, finished or during manufacture, at any time following% `+ \( k6 B0 H7 w+ x1 j4 R
curing of the compound, where applicable.

extensometer at a value below that specified as the acceptable minimum, the test results shall be4 `/ r% I: a8 G1 l, p5 t% {+ |' ^# m
disregarded and the test shall be repeated with another specimen.
