As you know, listening, speaking, reading, writing ,they are four basic steps during your learing english. If you wanna be a natural english speaking,  you should understand what the natural speaking said. SO, I need to say the skill of listening is very important to study engilsh.

We can also say that the listening english is the first step of survival english outside.

Some people told me that you should talk with foreign people without any concerns, directly use your engish words without any thinking, foreign guys can understand what you are talking, try to use the simple sentences and so on.....

The simplest way: Get yourself into an english enviroment, and make some foreign friends!

I am not sure if someone like to watch foreign film. do you hope that movie has the relative chinese scripts or not? Actually, if you like to watch foreign film, my preference is to have two kinds of scripts, together with chinese and english, even if there are some problems.....it is good way to exercise your listening..........

The other method is to repeat, Example: Tapes are the best teachers and learning companions.  They will never get bored, never get tired, and never charge you more! Love your English tapes.Make the most of this wonderful learning tool!Second:Try to pronounce everything just like the speaker on the tape. Imitation is the first and most important step. It’s much easier on imitate another speaker than it is to sound out each word according to phonetics in a dictionary!

I think learning surrounding is the most important.
You can listen & read, or even write by doing great jobs on books, tapes...
But if you want to speak fluent oral english, you have to talk to foreigners.
