– as specified in Subclause 6.3 of IEC 60664-4 for insulation that is subjected to any

29.3.2 Each layer of material shall withstand the electric strength test of 16.3 for

material and reinforced insulation of at least 3 layers.

temperature of 50 K in excess of the maximum temperature rise measured during the test of
8 c4 z: K# ^7 [( g. c5 mClause 19. At the end of the period, the insulation is subjected to the electric strength test of
: X/ X4 d N/ r ^' K v. _! i16.3 at the conditioning temperature and also after it has cooled down to room temperature.
