29.3.1 The thickness of the insulation shall be at least) m% q$ u( N# T9 N' D. ?

– 2 mm for reinforced insulation.
( u* S& k. H9 [29.3.2 Each layer of material shall withstand the electric strength test of 16.3 for& Y/ X/ O0 k- b4 s7 D
supplementary insulation. Supplementary insulation shall consist of at least 2 layers of
' m# G/ y1 R3 Dmaterial and reinforced insulation of at least 3 layers.
/ V& B+ {7 A) }29.3.3 The insulation is subjected to the dry heat test Bb of IEC 60068-2-2 for 48 h at a( T/ b( V; ~1 p
temperature of 50 K in excess of the maximum temperature rise measured during the test of
; x, `4 ^7 v0 k/ WClause 19. At the end of the period, the insulation is subjected to the electric strength test of
9 ^+ p* ~% M4 X9 C9 c/ h! m16.3 at the conditioning temperature and also after it has cooled down to room temperature.
' D! R" y6 b5 MIf the temperature rise of the insulation measured during the tests of Clause 19 does not
