Question: Various IEC standards have requirements for humidity/temperature
/ f+ e6 O; [4 ?$ ] Q* v+ u0 y) hconditioning, but have different specifications for the test conditions.

There does not seem to be a technical justification for the differences in the: x0 N( ~+ V1 C# S! B% A% X/ i( }

Accordingly, it is suggested and recommended that the humidity/temperature0 W! p v$ D! Z4 ]6 U, P4 B m: ~
specifications in the above standards be consistent.
9 T. V# i4 G8 N$ PDecision: The chamber is to be set at 93% RH, with +/-3% RH tolerance, at a convenient/ V$ d) j# X# h, ?, n
temperature between 20°C and 30°C, but the chosen temperature to be kept
* b% E& h m8 G9 ?# j& \within +/- 2°C during the test.4 [/ s. t! ^3 _, R5 f( U* \
The standard specifications for the humidity are to be met at the
: R0 L. i Z- Treference/measuring point, where the controlling humidity sensor is located.
* t0 ?5 N: Q5 G" }8 _The tolerances permitted in CTL DSH 251A (+/-6% RH) are allowed in other
