" ]+ U- N' K8 QIEC 61215:2005 Ed.2, Clause10.15.2.a) requires certain surface tension of the water
/ C, @. e( U- i3 E8 b1 a- hfor the wet leakage current test, however, the newer standard IEC 61646:2008 Ed.2) T, z( m3 a! M: ?# o
Clause 10.15.2.a) does not. The water surface tension measurement was required1 Q3 [! s% Q& ~! U0 H6 v
also in the IEC 61646 Ed.1, but this requirement was deleted in the second edition.
. I* ^7 ~& h. [+ KThe WG2 of TC82 has made the same decision for the upcoming IEC 61215 Ed.3* `; `( f. i2 m5 E; H; N% A$ K
standard. This standard, however, is not due to be released until 2010 or later. It is,
7 n/ w# z7 V5 htherefore, suggested to resolve this discrepancy by this decision sheet.
