3 S$ F0 e2 R* O9 ^% j0 X) m$ w$ N- xThe contactor, starter, or the combination starter, the combination switching device, the
protected starter or the protected switching device, shall be considered to have passed the
( l. \6 h1 P8 m! l- Utests at the prospective current "r" and, where applicable, the prospective current Iq, if the
following conditions are met for the claimed type of co-ordination.

screwdriver) without significant deformation, but no replacement of parts is permitted

# L: {0 r1 R6 [* _' l* IIn the case of welded contacts as described above, the functionality of the device shall
, T! ^. k! b/ ]$ H, b( s3 l/ Nbe verified by carrying out 10 operating cycles under the conditions of Table 8 for the
" j' d# U& {: K4 a" bapplicable utilization category.
5 l* G0 \# J: cThe text "if they are easily separated (e.g. by a screwdriver) without significant deformation"
$ m9 Y! D7 R# V2 {' {$ }1 `shall be interpreted as follows:
( x, @- z  U. h' x, [; c"Easily separated" means a separation realised on site for example by:
. W& e7 }. k& y6 x. }- Energizing the coil of the contactor
- Using a tool (eg. a screwdriver) for separating the welded contact or for moving an operating
means.
It is also allowed to remove covers or housing of the contactor according to the instruction of
- S8 [8 z6 v# I  Zthe manufacturer.
"Without significant deformation" means a deformation without impairing the insulation of the
contactor (see d) and i) of this Clause) and successfully performing the 10 operation cycle
