The nameplate of a notebook computer is located in the battery compartment. Only when the users remove the battery, can the nameplate be seen. Is this acceptable? J6 H/ Q+ t* m
Decision The marking is allowed to be in any operator access area. (See proposed clarification in document 108/264A/DC): These markings shall be readily visible in any OPERATOR ACCESS AREA , except that they shall not be located on the bottom of equipment having a mass exceeding 18 kg.9 [5 ^8 f! t, U, n0 E1 W5 P
1. For a notebook, if the battery compartment is operator accessible. the nameplate can be placed in the battery compartment.
