What should be the criteria for accepting a manufacturer’s declaration for

6 H% T) r% r9 l% c9 |/ j+ x) SIt was agreed that although manufacturer 's declaration may well be taken into consideration,
however testing must be performed to ensure that requirements of IEC61010-1 is met.
1 {. {3 x0 _8 e: sExplanatory Notes:
In IEC61010-1, there is no requirement to simulate the ageing process of critical components
such as the mains / isolating transformers.
8 \& o: ]# U6 z) {0 K% Z  ^5 x. uIt should be noted that after each single fault condition test, where necessary, the required
high voltage test must also be applied to ensure that at least basic insulation exists.
Note that under compliance criteria there is no reference to 'Declaration by manufacturer'.
