Question:
4 O% s8 a: v8 j* x( F! H# hConsider a self-contained emergency luminaire with the battery near to the transformer (distance of about
2 mm). Please advise how could the measurement requirement of the above subclauses, in which a
thermocouple is to be placed within 5 mm but not touching the cells of the battery compartment of the
luminaire be fulfilled?

To put the thermocouple midpoint between the transformer and the battery.
