shall be subjected to 30 days continuous operations so that the lamp current is adjusted to maximum (by
4 `& {, e! X6 b# o9 B, \varying the resistor R2), but in any case not higher than three times the normal lamp current. The test
: c9 {/ @ r; w( g1 J2 V ~+ Avoltage is 1,06 times the rated supply voltage of the ballast. Our experience shows that some ignitors4 o5 k( q- n Q. z. D5 A8 f
reach the maximum case temperature at room temperature in this circuit, when they are placed on a% |$ _" j8 ?: B8 d. a
wood board. Can the test be performed in this arrangement and the type accepted if after the test both
