' q$ P, h# Y$ G(1) The LED circuit is verified according to IEC/EN 61347-2-2 (*) or IEC/EN 61347-2-11. If the laser emits radiation in the wavelength range from 180 nm to 1 mm, the LED shall also be tested according to IEC/EN 60825 –1 (Safety of laser
, t5 K, Z) e: ]7 ]products). Only LEDs classified as Class 1 lasers can be used without problems for lighting purposes without protection.
(2) The thermal tests required in Section 12 of IEC/EN 60598-1 are carried out as follows:

, X! _6 `( t" y  pluminaire manufacturer; an electronic control gear clearly specified on the luminaire instructions; a ferromagnetic control gear. The tests shall be carried out as required in Section 12 according to IEC/EN 60598-2-6 with the appropriate control gear.
