a. As far as reasonable, the test requirements of IEC 60238 apply.6 r% e, d8 z' I9 ^ [; n# z
b. The lamp cap shall comply with IEC 60061-1 and the dimensions shall be checked with the gauges listed in IEC 60061-3 for this lamp.4 G, s0 C. E% l1 G' A* d( q8 v( j9 U
c. The lampholder shall comply with IEC 60838-1.
. G1 B) Q* Q8 _& q0 L* m( e. g4 B/ ld. The full construction shall comply with IEC 60598-1 as applicable (marking, construction, dielectric tests, creepage and clearance distances, needle flame, glow wire tests etc).
" |/ o7 z8 Z# X1 w- Y7 E+ g# _e. The only item missing is the thermal behavior of the semi-luminaire, in the luminaire it is not known. In this case, we can take the consideration given in clause 2.4 of IEC 60432-2, where the problem is the same. Of course this test is an additional one, actually not required in the standard, but it is important to consider that up to now the semi-luminaires on the market incorporate tubular fluorescent lamps and the heating behavior is not a safety problem.
