Question:
" ?6 Z- W& Z2 v! S" WSub-clause 10.103 of IEC 60998-2-2, ed. 1991 specifies : “Each terminal shall, in addition to its rated connecting capacity, accept at least the two successive smaller cross-sectional areas …”. And, at the end, adds “(Exception: Special types of terminals may accept a smaller range of cross-sectional areas as declared by the manufacturer.)”.
It is wondered whether screw-lesstype clamping units accepting just the successive smaller cross-sectional area are covered by the standard, provided the manufacturer clearly declares it both on the smallest package unit and in technical information and/or catalogues.
