Three Phase Power Supply for CB Testing Laboratories

CB product categories CONT & PROT

Question:
Must a CBTL be equipped with the three phase power supply even though its current testing does not
comprise products that shall be subjected to testing with a three phase power supply?
Decision:
A CBTL must have the three phase power supply for the relevant standards in its scope for categories
CONT and PROT.
A limitation of the scope to a single standard for a CBTL is not foreseen in the rules of the CB Scheme.
The following is a list of standards for the CB categories PROT and CONT where a three phase power
supply is necessary or not to fulfil the requirements of the standard.
