The materials shall be classified HB, HB40 or HB75 (HB = horizontal burning) in accordance# k, u$ C. `. _

8.4.1 A material classified HB shall conform to one of the following criteria:
' R+ { T% H0 ja) it shall not visibly burn with a flame after the ignition source is removed;
) ?2 H4 G! M0 [! f- _0 Hb) if the test specimens continue to burn with a flame after removal of the ignition source, the* N! ^/ ^+ t% u2 i
flame front shall not pass the 100 mm mark;
* Y) R7 i# A# o0 R) Gc) if the flame front passes the 100 mm mark, it shall not have a linear burning rate exceeding
# _2 J& r2 d% {1 p- j6 h6 w5 D40 mm/min for a thickness of 3,0 mm to 13,0 mm or a burning rate not exceeding
8 O, p+ J/ n* s' s75 mm/min for a thickness of less than 3,0 mm;
, v6 P% k1 b" |' ^3 ?, M- `2 `7 O6 Q3 U- Hd) if the linear burning rate does not exceed 40 mm/min for tests with 3,0 mm ± 0,2 mm* O, ?9 a0 y( H( {$ T3 d/ y
thickness, it shall automatically be accepted down to a 1,5 mm minimum thickness.
% n5 @ m2 H6 {8.4.2 A material classified HB40 shall present one of the following criteria:
