What should be the criteria for accepting a manufacturer’s declaration for
. u8 }- l, z4 `$ l9 @isolation systems and materials?

. N5 G% N! j" ]! b' v6 S) lIt was agreed that although manufacturer 's declaration may well be taken into consideration,
' w% ^( n  I( [' nhowever testing must be performed to ensure that requirements of IEC61010-1 is met.
Explanatory Notes:
In IEC61010-1, there is no requirement to simulate the ageing process of critical components
- z3 [/ ~5 W( \* `3 Q- esuch as the mains / isolating transformers.
' g5 q" R! S  y3 c3 k# zIt should be noted that after each single fault condition test, where necessary, the required
high voltage test must also be applied to ensure that at least basic insulation exists.
Note that under compliance criteria there is no reference to 'Declaration by manufacturer'.
