It was agreed that although manufacturer 's declaration may well be taken into consideration,
' ]8 L2 W6 z: P. ] r. R; ahowever testing must be performed to ensure that requirements of IEC61010-1 is met.0 y' ^& j8 i* @3 }; B8 V- k
Explanatory Notes:" o" v/ [: Q) o, q6 M+ V) a- n
In IEC61010-1, there is no requirement to simulate the ageing process of critical components; y8 \3 j u- Y4 a& i1 c
such as the mains / isolating transformers.: H. ^+ U/ |% F
It should be noted that after each single fault condition test, where necessary, the required" g. w9 ?) Y1 J+ r& a
high voltage test must also be applied to ensure that at least basic insulation exists.
