What should be the criteria for accepting a manufacturer’s declaration for
/ K% T+ r4 J/ G- bisolation systems and materials?
This question is from CTL.
Decision:
It was agreed that although manufacturer 's declaration may well be taken into consideration,
' ]8 L2 W6 z: P. ]  r. R; ahowever testing must be performed to ensure that requirements of IEC61010-1 is met.
Explanatory Notes:
In IEC61010-1, there is no requirement to simulate the ageing process of critical components
such as the mains / isolating transformers.
It should be noted that after each single fault condition test, where necessary, the required
high voltage test must also be applied to ensure that at least basic insulation exists.
