- v% [7 |; H" g0 Iaccessories). The unit can be used with or without a constant water flowing (in
/ V8 I1 Q) p$ M" E- iaccordance with the manual instructions). What should be the temperature of# O, P8 v1 `2 R* M; \1 a
the water during the thermal tests?, _1 H% G' T% e7 i$ r0 p# s0 Z7 `
Decision: The applicable standard is IEC/EN 60335-1. The thermal tests have to be8 t$ v, }' c* F- y' W
carried out according to clause 11 (heating) and clause 19 (abnormal( b! k- l# J, i; }' f- r8 G( s
conditions) of IEC/EN 60335-1. If according to the manual instructions the
^8 Z, d# y$ D9 G% J3 Wappliance can be used without water flowing, we have to consider this situation
" z+ f. D+ e' eas worst case: all tests have to be performed without water flowing. At the9 y4 |) F2 a6 ~( y7 e) I5 ?
beginning of the tests, the water shall be at room temperature (25°C). If the
8 d3 t& V7 y2 j$ y' N Z( O2 Dappliance is provided for use with water flowing only, the heating test (clause. a% H7 U2 B8 ?. j; g2 V
11) shall be started with water at room temperature (25°C) but flowing. For the
