an interrupting means having an adequate breaking capacity shall be connected in series with
9 a- f$ c6 E3 h1 Gthe VDR. This requirement does not apply to a VDR in a LIMITED CURRENT CIRCUIT.

NOTE 2 During the lifetime of a VDR the leakage current increases with the number of switching cycles in the" w5 Q" X _! W9 l% r# Q. \/ A
VDR. This leakage current causes a permanent and continuously increasing temperature stress, which can cause

里面要求MOV要有几种保护:
( _$ k1 e% `* B8 D7 W8 ^1.要求MOV可以承受瞬态过电压的保护。2.由漏电流引起的过热和短路故障引起的燃烧和爆裂。+ X+ n& G' I6 z
关于第一点,我个人认为只要根据供电系统瞬态电压等级选择合适参数的MOV就可以达到对第一点的保护。第二点目前似乎只有加一个thermal fuse 和MOV串联并且将thermal fuse 紧贴着MOV才可以。1 y4 D* A( D. k h
