1. Member States shall adopt and publish the provisions* H5 l; z8 ~. I
necessary to comply with this Directive by 29 June 2008 at the- @4 b S9 C% O
latest. They shall forthwith inform the Commission thereof.
1 P4 j: p7 H0 ?, ~1 t1 |2 ?They shall apply those provisions with effect from 29
C2 N6 \- E& I7 V |8 QDecember 2009.
# L7 u+ W( t; a M W" N: jWhen Member States adopt those provisions, they shall contain' N9 g) \3 g0 a% P' T T
a reference to this Directive or shall be accompanied by such
: u& L/ t* l9 yreference on the occasion of their official publication. Member6 I V' T5 r% x3 ^1 F1 M! d
States shall determine how such reference is to be made.
+ x7 U9 o5 V9 Y2 u2 x- x# w2. Member States shall communicate to the Commission the
9 t G$ m4 m- f5 D5 utext of the provisions of national law which they adopt in the2 l" E! P. W& f0 {/ D# `& m) S
field covered by this Directive, together with a table showing
# p. h" g ^' w. Vhow the provisions of this Directive correspond to the national

Until 29 June 2011 Member States may allow the placing on

1 E; X6 p7 v( z c3 U" k, zfixing and other impact machinery which are in6 U$ S: D6 z" W9 Y$ j6 s. K/ r% A
conformity with the national provisions in force upon adoption8 g% w3 m8 M2 ~/ L G3 {
of this Directive.

Entry into force, z8 M+ _3 f% [4 W. E! X
This Directive shall enter into force on the 20th day following
