IEC 61215:2005 Ed.2, Clause10.15.2.a) requires certain surface tension of the water3 q8 u+ C5 U6 ~! P6 T+ k
for the wet leakage current test, however, the newer standard IEC 61646:2008 Ed.2
. n& g/ t! |) h4 F: A. U( |( ^Clause 10.15.2.a) does not. The water surface tension measurement was required% ^9 I' r: y" v' \
also in the IEC 61646 Ed.1, but this requirement was deleted in the second edition." t0 A1 ]5 [% w" z0 b. M
The WG2 of TC82 has made the same decision for the upcoming IEC 61215 Ed.3% a* M2 O% Z2 R# X
standard. This standard, however, is not due to be released until 2010 or later. It is,4 ?) S( w5 E" K* S& d' c" `
therefore, suggested to resolve this discrepancy by this decision sheet.6 r7 @7 Z- v$ }
