There does not seem to be a technical justification for the differences in the

Accordingly, it is suggested and recommended that the humidity/temperature) M. O8 e2 z) X( i+ n) d
specifications in the above standards be consistent.% _# S+ a$ d7 m* N
Decision: The chamber is to be set at 93% RH, with +/-3% RH tolerance, at a convenient
/ U5 f, L7 D" X. I# X& i& B% V; ptemperature between 20°C and 30°C, but the chosen temperature to be kept0 Z# ^. v: V9 u+ k6 k! K6 |
within +/- 2°C during the test.
0 \5 w# Q# h' |' G zThe standard specifications for the humidity are to be met at the
' O- }; b+ g( k! ^reference/measuring point, where the controlling humidity sensor is located.$ r* `5 h) Z- h0 P- Y
The tolerances permitted in CTL DSH 251A (+/-6% RH) are allowed in other; g/ C5 D4 g8 e0 e; F' w' K. T3 |: h
parts of the humidity chamber, away from the reference point.3 P+ P, K0 F" h9 h
