IEC 61215:2005 Ed.2, Clause10.15.2.a) requires certain surface tension of the water
: \6 t0 X1 n' S8 M& kfor the wet leakage current test, however, the newer standard IEC 61646:2008 Ed.2
" w/ G% Z9 ] dClause 10.15.2.a) does not. The water surface tension measurement was required2 D$ d! y* C3 J8 _/ x8 P
also in the IEC 61646 Ed.1, but this requirement was deleted in the second edition.
7 E' N# w/ u2 W& n8 f4 Z9 ZThe WG2 of TC82 has made the same decision for the upcoming IEC 61215 Ed.35 Q6 I- h* V5 _* m
standard. This standard, however, is not due to be released until 2010 or later. It is,8 O6 e: |6 x6 f
therefore, suggested to resolve this discrepancy by this decision sheet.
