The specimens are tested by means of the apparatus shown in figure 41. This apparatus has

round pins, or a blade having a round shape (see figure 41b), with a diameter of 6 mm and an+ g) o5 v. M' T7 ?/ N' R8 n, v
edge of 0,7 mm, in other cases.5 a6 x! d; N% I U3 h
The specimens are placed in position as shown in figure 41.

9 c2 R, A# B0 l- v3 q* HThe apparatus, with the specimen in position, is maintained for 2 h in a heating cabinet at a

The specimen is then removed from the apparatus and, within 10 s, cooled by immersion in
