Impact Energy for Hammer: EPTA-Procedure 05/2009

Now EPTA (European Power Tool Association) has established a consistent standard EPTA-Procedure 05/2009 (in measuring impact energy for Electrical Hammer) all power toolmanufacturers are obliged to use to ensure comparable data. This standard allows customers to objectively compare technical data of electro-pneumatic hammers from different power tool manufacturers.

This procedure becomes mandatory for EPTA manufacturers by 1st of January 2011. This means that any catalogues, instruction manuals and other literature containing single impact data of hammers and issued after 1st of January 2011 have to comply with this procedure.

Who may share this EPTA-Procedure 05/2009?
