CCIC的那点事

我司申请UL认证需进行IPI首次工厂检查：
之前有跟审核主管联络过，说公司一些文件、设备没准备好，待可以安排审厂了再电话沟通。
今天CCIC审核员突然到公司，说发邮件了确定今天审厂，实际公司邮箱没有收到任何关于确定何时审厂的邮件。
审核员要开不符合项，塞了个大红包，还不知道OK不OK。我想知道这种情况是不是审核员故意搞的，想捞钱？

Also the labels could be another focus during the factory audit, so letting your factory shutting down is so easy, understand?
In this case, even you don't want to give the cash, your boss would like to do it, right?

- I only say the reality here, sometimes, I also hate the UL factory auditor from CCIC, and as I know, the guys from shenzhen and zhejiang CCIC are more worse than anywhere else.

I hate to give cash, I still want to say building good relationship witht the auditors is the No.1 option, but that does not mean, no cash is needed, and sometimes, giving some presents and suitable cash is the effective way to build good relationship, but that's not for closing the VN...

- 因为从测试完到IPI才半个月时间，而且要在产品上印刷到UL档案号，肯定没法那么快完成，不知是不是CCIC的人抓住这点故意这样搞的，现在真是拿它没办法，本来工厂就存在问题。
fasten: 工厂不同意IPI，说CCIC确定发邮件来IPI那是扯淡，IPI由工厂预约，双方协定才算数。其实这种事情一般都是工厂惯坏的，拿出我的脾气来，痛骂CCIC的马上开VN试试看。 ...

- No, if there is no production at the end of the quarter when the UL FUS procedure was released, then an regular inspection will be initiated, and the report will be indicated as no UL marked products are in production...

Anyway, the IPI must be done before the first shipment, and need to be fixed based on the alignment between the factory and the field representative.

- Just for reminding, if your products which covered by your UL file is using the UL listing mark, so pls check the Listing mark data page of your UL FUS procedure, and know the UL mark requirements clearly, and if label was used(not the laser mark), then check the detailed marking requirements, normally, UL PGDQ2/PGJI2, plus the PGAA is the requirements to your label vendor, and this is one focus for a new UL approved factory....

Anyway, if the mark you used is the UL recoganized marking, then something could be ignored, at least the PGAA requirement for your label supplier could be ignored...

- Yes, I said it, the IPI is based on the alignment&e-mail between the factory and UL, and this will be indicated as the IPI notice from UL through e-mail, or something like this..

But if there is no production for a long time after the UL FUS procedure and the IPI notice was released, then an regular inspection(not the IPI) will be initiated, that's for sure there is no shipment before the IPI from UL side....
Let me explain in an easy way, if there is production actually but the factory always told UL that there is no, then in this case, how to control this factory from UL side? couldbe, you could say this is a serious non-conformance, and will be punished by UL after it pops, but the effective way is to have an regulare inspection before the IPI if there is no production for a long time after the FUS procedure was released, and this is also required by UL.
