美规插头的标准是UL1310?加拿大的插头标准是什么?两者的差异大不大?

I can tell you that UL817 is for power supply cords, including the attachment plugs and the flexible cords,so that is why for the UL certification of power supply cords, there are always two UL files, one is for the whole supply cords, the other is SP file, only for the attachment plugs,but UL1310 is only for the attachment plugs, so they are different. For CSA you can reference C22.2 No.49-06

And for FUS inspection, UL auditor always verify the whole power supply's test items, such as the strain relief, dielectric resistance,and etc, but for the attachment plugs, UL auditor will select another samples without the flexible cords and send them to UL office for testing, so the test items are also different.

If you wanna know more detailed information, you can check your company's UL file, there is a description that which standards are used. Reading these two files step by step and item by item, you will learn more.
7 m# e) g7 G2 S! o. c; QNormally, in the whole power supply's UL file(L file), UL817 will be referenced, and there is also an UL FUII for your information, and in the SP file(R file), there is some description about the component's material information, and some test introduction.
