Z- Z2 F, N( I( E2 H0 kThe plastic toy nails are either red or blue, and are 8cm (3 1/4 inches) long by 3cm (1 1/4 inches) in diameter. The nails have a round head. Approximately 3cm (1 1/4 inches) below the head is a plastic ridge, slightly smaller than the nail head and about 2.5cm (1inch) in diameter.

The oversized plastic toy nails can pose a choking hazard to young children.

Little Tikes has received one report of a hospitalization in the United States that resulted from an 11-month child who choked when the toy nail became forcefully lodged in his throat; he made a full recovery.8 w5 D+ y" _0 c+ M
5 ?; G6 l' t% q" H. g9 e& fHealth Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these products.
