131A.2 Test method – short circuit
; j) ~, {6 w+ {; ^131A.2.1 For the short circuit test, three samples are to be mounted as intended, draped with, |4 ~6 v o. O5 m" H X
cheesecloth, and then a short circuit condition is to be introduced to simulate a line to neutral fault. The short should be located in the farthest series string to provide the maximum lead resistance.

b) 7 hours, when temperatures and current levels are being monitored and show no changes

131A.3 Test method – abnormal operation
: w# M% l; z- Q) z4 m! |# ~131A.3.1 Three samples are to be mounted as intended, draped with cheesecloth, and then a lamp is to be bypassed in the series string to simulate a shorted lamp. The bypassed lamp is to be located in the closest series string to provide the least lead resistance.
