关于UL审厂那点事

想了解一下，如果产品过了UL，在以下情况下，需要审厂之后才能卖
1）认证的时候结构修改过
2）第一次涉及到UL（也就是工厂之前没有UL file number)

请教各位，是这样的不？

IPI: Intial product inspection
Field Inspection: Designated by UL directly, and normally due to market survey
Reinspection due to VN: VN issued, then reinspection is needed to verify the corrective actions
IMP: Increased monitor procedure, normally due to re-occured VN, and serious non-consistency..

Maybe there's other reason for the inspection before shipment...

上面的兄弟已提到，通常是新建UL档案时必须执行IPI审厂才可以出货的，至于你说的"UL认证的过程中"是指首次申请，还是在原档案下增加新的机型，如是首次的话，不管是否有更改，都是要审厂才能出货的，如不是首次，只要目击测试验证及更新报告即可，不涉及审厂.

产品结构报备应该不需要审厂。
首次申请UL认证，肯定要进行首次审厂。

Only new UL file needs the IPI(initial production inspection), after that, even construction/components are changed in the same file, no audit is necessary, but this kind of change on the construction/components should be evaluated by UL engineer, not the factory auditor...

Anyway, if a new UL file is created under the same factory, then IPI will be necessary by the auditors before the shipment...

Hopefully, it can clarify...

如果是第一次申请UL产品认证，首次工厂检查是必须的，只有通过了厂检，你才拿的到UL的授权信（NOA），否则是不能出货的。
