! T% ^8 ^7 s9 y8 Z6 H/ ]1. Perform pre-submittals safety design review and analysis of proposed Purchase for Resale (PFR) products, product review and testing 2 o) o) [8 _! k9 J
2. Critical component drawing reviews 4 H U2 \. E1 ^5 g7 v+ L/ v
3. Assist the PFR vendors with interfacing with the Agencies, i.e. CCC, UL, TUV etc 2 h' }" G/ B' p8 ^
4. Perform CEA-CEB19 standard testing and all internal Bose DCE Safety tests, i.e. DC offset testing for passive speaker testing on PFR vendor products
6 j1 I% M! y4 l; T9 h! R5. Support CCC submittals for Bose USA designed products
8 `- B, x1 |. O# Y6. Handle alternate construction submittals with CCC, UL, and TUV etc
7 V; A2 y! s I9 I) \4 M7. Perform bi-annual follow-up inspections at the PFR vendors’ factories to verify the product has not changed 6 D3 X( H6 U) Y8 Y
8. Perform bi-annual CCC product verification review and testing for product Mfg in China
. E+ u3 _; v3 F" W. D" Z. v9. Support Agency follow-up inspections at PFR vendors factories and resolve any non-conformances ' [3 K% W* q, p. M
10. Interface with the Chinese Agency CQC to help to resolve issues related to current certifications 6 E. {4 n7 k$ i4 A; i
11. Support power supply vendors in understanding certification requirements, perform preliminary construction review, support Project team to track supply approvals.
# j! t& ~* G! h6 K, s12. Perform Energy Efficiency testing on new PFR products/ power supplies at each DP/MP phase and create reports

14. Product Store display design review for displays to be installed in third party retail stores and Bose stores for product demos U6 A) J- n2 U( z Y
15. FINS (customer returns with possible safety issues) review for locally returned products
* ~0 d' U$ I; v; N; I/ ^- S1 I16. Keep on top of changing local regulations so that the Design community can be advised of possible standard changes impacting current product and future designs9 W }7 t' `0 p7 Y/ b

Requirements:
; l* b m! I8 R/ q2 u" _; |• Minimum Electrical Tech degree and two to five years of applicable work experience in dealing with International Safety Agencies, UL. TUV, Intertek, CQC etc..8 a( f3 d* u% |8 @
• Must have a working knowledge of UL/IEC60065 or similar standards with testing and Safety Agency interface experience. / J! x& A8 M z7 A
• Hands on familiarity with test equipment, Oscilloscopes, DMM, etc., and ability to perform all necessary safety testing preferred.
1 `% f+ N1 i) [) Q• Must be proactive and able to work independently with the ability to manage and coordinate several projects in parallel.
