6.14 Grounding and bonding

6.14.1.1 Non-current-carrying metal parts and metallized polymeric parts that are accessible during user) P/ V4 ? @- L8 E" l. [+ y* R& p1 U1 p
maintenance or component replacement without the use of tools and that can involve the risk of shock
4 u: a. K2 U# ]+ Y$ m2 E2 G/ Jshall be bonded to ground and shall comply with the bond impedance test of Clause 17.2. A luminaire with+ _- F; U6 M1 l; X
non-current carrying parts bonded to ground shall have the resistance of the bonding circuit tested in# h# }! l- w9 p% A# p
accordance with Clause 17.2.1. If the resistance exceeds 0.10 W, the bonding circuit shall be tested as

6.14.1.2 The following parts are not required to be bonded to ground:& j1 ^& `- J, ]6 p. L, c
(a) the links of a metal chain used to support a pendant luminaire;
