1). 1.4.5 - Tolerances on supply voltage: Tolerances are + 10% and - 10% instead of + 6% and - 10% as given in IEC60950-1. The China mains voltage is 220 V. Therefore, the test voltages under consideration are 198 to 242 V.

2 {/ y8 A( T6 R& E- ?This will not have an impact if a product is marked with an input voltage range such as 200-240 V (servers are marked like this). This will have an impact a product is marked with a single input voltage such as 230 V or 115/230 V (desk top units are marked 115/230 V). In this case the heating test of 4.5 of IEC 60950-1 may need to be repeated at 198 V.7 T5 x! k/ @7 O1 [& Z- X& f

4). Altitude and clearances: For China, the clearances ( through air electrical spacings ) must be suitable for 5000 m. Dell currently designs equipment for 3048 m ( 10,000 feet ). Therefore, (unless clearances for 5000 m are used) the following symbol and instructions must be provided. All Dell equipment with CCC marking is impacted unless we redesign the equipment for 5000 m.3 h1 U$ d2 g+ X1 T3 ^/ E
