1. The technical Requirements for Electrical Appliances and Materials set by the Ordinance of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry pursuant to the provisions of Article 8, Paragraph 1 of the Electrical Appliance and Material Control Law (Law No. 234, 1961) shall be as prescribed in the Appendix noted in the second column of the following table corresponding to each respective Type of Electrical Appliance and Material noted in the first column of the same table. For this purpose, in the case of Electrical Appliances and Materials having two or more of the functions of Electrical Appliances and Materials listed in the sections of “Name of Electrical Appliance and Material” of Appendix 2 of the Ordinance of the Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Law (Ordinance of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry No. 84, 1962), the Technical Requirements pertinent to each of the relevant products shall be applied./ w8 S- M0 D- l! In the event that the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry judges that, based on construction and materials, etc., a product does not pose a threat to the maintenance of public safety, and irrespective of the provisions of the preceeding Paragraph, those requirements recognized by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry shall be made the Technical Requirements. |
