15.3.8 Terminals shall be suitably fixed to the equipment or to a terminal block or otherwise

! L5 ^* h# ~* f) l5 o( i" U" ^( UCompliance is checked by inspection and, if there is a doubt, by applying the mechanical test
) \8 [7 H9 A& o; a+ igiven in 15.5 or 15.8. During the test, the terminals shall not work loose and there shall be no
+ y# i3 b* k" ~5 Rdamage that will impair their further use.

terminals which are delivered separately. Covering with sealing compound without other means2 p( `7 N: ~* V7 e. c9 m
of locking is not sufficient. Self-hardening resins may however be used to lock terminals which
& h, `/ ?3 ?. {& G4 y# ?are not subject to torsion in normal use.& r$ ^* }9 t ~0 M: Y9 L4 F
15.3.9 Terminals and connections shall withstand the mechanical, electrical and thermal
