Particular Requirements for Shavers, Hair Clippers, and Similar Appliances

UL1028
Hair Clipping and Shaving Appliances

从两者的scope看,
UL60335-2-8
This standard deals with the safety of electric shavers, hair clippers and similar appliances intended for household and similar purposes, their RATED VOLTAGE being not more than 250 V.

UL1028
These requirements cover appliances for household or commercial use on persons or animals, and appliances in which motion of an operating part is produced by electrical means.
These requirements do not cover appliances rated more than 600 V, nor do they cover appliances
involving universal motors rated more than 250 V.

似乎没有明显区别?

如果做UL认证,应该采用哪个标准呢?

个人以为做UL1028为好。UL60335－2－8是美国为靠拢IEC标准而出台的标准。近来又听说UL会慢慢淡出这一体系。

UL60335-2-8吧。
象电熨斗原先是UL1005，现在已经被UL60335-2-3完全取代。
我建议对UL工程师进行详细咨询。

UL标准类型type分为：uliec和ulstd两种，不知道用意何在。像上述两个标准，经查询：UL1208属于ulstd类型，而UL60335-2-8属于uliec类型。那么针对这种情况，应该选择哪个类型的标准做认证，不知道有什么讲究没有。
