WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with the firm named below, today announced a voluntary recall of the following consumer product. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed.

4 V" S7 y! q9 @1 m. [. }: v3 m# ]Hazard: The recalled cleaners wiring can overheat, causing electrical arcing and melting. This poses a burn hazard to consumers./ @* O& ]+ ]6 ~7 b k" H# u
! d2 X0 W/ D/ w; {. |Incidents/Injuries: HMI has received 40 reports of overheating and damage to carpets. No injuries have been reported.

Description: The recalled floor cleaner is a black-colored, canister-style vacuum with a powered floor tool. The words ajestic 360?and ILTERQUEEN are printed on a label located on the unit.% V- N; s( M$ Q# r8 D5 s- J0 O

Sold through: Independent distributors nationwide from September 2004 through August 2006 for about $1800.
